Scott Busch Earns Certified Investment Management Analyst® Certification

It is our pleasure to announce that Scott Busch has successfully completed the requirements for the CIMA® certification, Certified Investment Management Analyst® through the Investment & Wealth Institute® taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Scott attended The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania to complete the CIMA® certification, which identifies individuals who have met extensive experience and ethical requirements and successfully completed advanced investment management consulting coursework provided through a select top-20 business schools in the United States. His studies culminated in him passing the rigorous five-hour certification exam.

Many of you know Scott has an MBA degree in Finance from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management where he also has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.  As an undergrad, he was a member of Purdue’s golf team, the Student Athlete 4.0 club and he received Academic All-Big Ten honors.

Scott’s CIMA® designation and previous academic accomplishments demonstrate his skill, knowledge and competency in the areas of investment management and portfolio construction.  Investment & Wealth Institute® publications state that only 40% of all selected candidates succeed in attaining Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification. Fewer than 2% of financial services professionals hold CIMA® certification, which is delivered by Investments & Wealth Institute® and is the only credential designed specifically for financial advisors and investment consultants. Additionally, those who earn the certification must agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and adhere to the Institute’s Code of Professional Responsibility.

We are proud and fortunate to have Scott Busch, CIMA® as a member of our firm. Gettings Reed Financial is committed to continued education and development to better serve our clients as the investment landscape continues to evolve.
